Polyurethane Sandwich Panel (PUR)
Polyurethane sandwich panel is manufactured in two common applications: for roof covering with a thickness of 3 to 15 cm and for a wall covering in V8, hidden screw and cold storage models with a thickness of 3 to 15 cm. Polyurethane sandwich panel typically consists of 5 layers, which includes two inner and outer protective skin-layers made of pre-painted galvanized iron, aluzinc, aluminum or steel sheet, a thick insulating layer of polyurethane foam and two thin layers of special glue to adhere the outer protective layers with the polyurethane foam layer. Polyurethane foam used in Foolad Gharb sandwich panels usually has a density of 38-42 kg/m3.

Foolad Gharb PUR Sandwich Panel
Foolad Gharb PUR sandwich panel is one of the favourite products of Foolad Gharb, and according to the standards applied in this type of sandwich panel and its unique flexibility, it is suitable for a wide range of cold storage applications, cold rooms and distribution centers, large cooling chillers, and totally appropriate for limited control of the ambient temperature for any structure. Generally speaking, the application for polyurethane sandwich panel is diverse according to its special characteristics, and the type of sandwich panel should be selected according to the type of need, environmental and weather conditions, and budget. PUR sandwich panels are a good choice for chemical industries, food factories and agricultural usages. But due to the higher price of polyurethane sandwich panel, using it for the roof of livestock and poultry sheds is not ecconomical.

Why PUR Sandwich Panel ?
Polyurethane is a type of insulating foam in which most of the pores are closed and can be used as a good thermal insulation. Polyurethane is made from the combination of polyol and isocyanate under special conditions and in the presence of a catalyst, which shows better advantages than polystyrene foam. A sandwich panel made from polyurethane insulation has the ability to last in an air temperature of 100 to 110 degrees Celsius.
