Sandwich Panels are insulated structures made of three main layers: an upper and a lower thin metal skin-layers bonded to a low to high-density insulation core (PUR, XPS, EPS). Light weight, good thermal and sound insulation, easy installation, high strength and low price are characteristics of sandwich panels which are nowadays being used in numerous applications in industry and construction, where a combination of high structural rigidity and low weight is required. Sandwich panels are used in facades, partition walls and roofs for general-purpose applications including industrial and business buildings, offices, sports stadiums, warehouses and power plants. Sandwich panels are also suitable for constructions in food industry where clean rooms are of outmost importance.
